Health and Adult Social Care Select Committee

Purpose of committee

The Health and Adult Social Care Select Committee is responsible for:

 

     Adults' social care services

     Adults' safeguarding

     Coroner's services

     Dementia services

     Health and health partnerships

     Public health

     The review and scrutiny of the planning, provision and operation of health services in West Sussex

 

It was formed in April 2012 with the merger of the former Adults’ Services Select Committee and the Health Overview and Scrutiny Committee.
