Ashvin Patel has lived in Aldwick for 35 years with his wife Kalpana. He raised his two children there. Until recently he ran the local village store. He is a member of Aldwick Preservation Society. He has been a District Councillor for 20 years and County Councillor for the last eight years.
Much of his time is spent walking local streets and parks.
