Councillor Sarah Sharp

Sarah Sharp worked in France, Germany and London before coming to Chichester to bring up her children in 1999.

Sarah quickly found herself deep in community affairs, notably the local Golden Jubilee Street party, an annual community event in Whyke amphitheatre and, a bit later, Playing Out.

Having lived in Germany in her twenties, Sarah is aware that much more can be done to live sustainably and with less pollution. She successfully campaigned for 20mph limits on residential streets in Chichester. She has a passion for environmental matters, enjoys cycling around the city and is a member of the Church of England.

Sarah is a member of the Green Party.

Sarah enjoys playing the piano, cooking and swimming.

Sarah holds surgeries on the second Saturday of the month from 9.15 am to 10.15 am at Chichester Library, Tower Street, Chichester PO19 1QJ (note: this will alter from 2023 due to forthcoming elections).
