Yapton: Bilsham Road, Proposed Waiting Restrictions - URGENT ACTION (WA01 20/21)

The Director of Law and Assurance, in consultation with the Chairman of The Joint Western Arun Area Committee and the Chairman of the Environment and Communities Scrutiny Committee, has used his delegated powers under Standing Order 3.45 to approve the attached decision.

This decision will be taken under urgency procedures.

Reason for urgency:
The Traffic Regulation Order (TRO) is proposed to accommodate the access road to a new development. Planning permission for the new development specified a TRO with a condition that the new houses cannot be occupied until the TRO is confirmed. Objections to the TRO have been received and the scheme has been modified to resolve most of them. The next meeting of the Joint Western Arun Area Committee is not scheduled until 2 July 2020 and the decision is required before this date.
