The Director of Highways, Transport and Planning, in consultation with the Director of Education and Skills, has approved the implementation of a new Dynamic Purchasing System for passenger transport services, from date June 2022, in order to:

a.    Source and select competent transport suppliers who pass the exclusion and selection criteria; and

b.    Award contracts for individual routes/requirements following a competitive tender process and in line with the Council’s Standing Orders on Procurement and Contracts.
