Committee details

The Governance Committee oversees the County Council's political management arrangements, including membership and terms of reference of committees and members' allowances.

It is also responsible for:

•     corporate personnel policies

•     overseeing the appointment of senior officers

•     determining the terms and conditions of employment for all staff, including the pension scheme.
