Decision details

The Total Performance Monitor details the Council’s performance in relation to revenue and capital spending, savings, workforce projections, performance and risk by portfolio against the Cabinet’s key priorities. This report concerns the approval of the Leader and Cabinet Member for Finance and Resources of the August Total Performance Monitor and an item of financial and performance management within the Monitor.

The Leader and the Cabinet Member for Finance and Resources have:

a)   endorsed for publication the overall performance position covering finance, savings and performance as set out in the August 2018 TPM.

The Cabinet Member for Finance has:

b)   endorsed for publication the August 2018 forecast revenue position as set out in Appendix 1 of the attached TPM; and

c)    approved the creation and delegated authority of the Strategic Economic Growth Reserve following the Leader’s recently approved decision report of the Economic Growth Plan as detailed in paragraphs 3.1 – 3.3 of this report.
